Dave Kropf, Mr. What is Up … is a giant nerd when it comes to music history and theory. He’s been playing drums for about 26 years and loves the sound of his own voice. His favorite food is sushi .. no, wait – Mama Mia’s pizza. Hmm, that’s tough. His favorite piece of gear is his set of 14″ Connie hats (thanks MyCymbal.com!) When he’s not drumming, he’s brushing up on his skillz on jazz vibes and blues harp.  Dave holds a Master’s Degree in Jazz and Studio Performance (drumset) from the University of Memphis and a Bachelors Degree in Music History from the University of Memphis.

Mike “The English Muffin” Mountford … has been playing drums for 9 years or so, when he has free time he is often found reading books, especially books by Gideon Defoe, he enjoys eating Indian food or would do if you there was such a thing in America. His favorite piece of gear is a 1960′s 5×14 premier snare drum.
