Meinl Releases Foot Cabasa
This looks pretty cool. Seems perfect for hand percussion players. From Harmony-Central.com

Meinl percussion introduces the Foot Cabasa, which for the first time ever allows the percussionist to play and maintain a cabasa rhythm by foot while the hands play the congas or other drums.
This breakthrough instrument features a large Turbo Cabasa mounted on a foot pedal, which adds a new sound to your setup. It can be set for either a single or double-stroke, which means that the cabasa sound can be heard on the down-stroke only, or on both down and upstrokes.
It also adds a whole new world of sounds and playing options for drum set players as well.
