Heavy metal band Slipknot have cancelled their appearance because drummer Joey Jordison has broken his ankle.
They were due to feature on Reading’s main stage on Sunday.
In a personal message to their fans the award-winning band said: “It is with huge regret and disappointment that we have been forced to cancel our imminent festival appearances at Leeds and Reading.
“The other night Joey Jordison broke his ankle and doctors have advised Joey to stay off his leg for four-six weeks to prevent further injury or permanent and more serious damage.
