Andrea VaDrucci, A.K.A. VaDrum has released a video of his latest creation. A drummer’s version of the Barber of Seville.

This guy is definitely potential drummer of the week material.
Who says drummers aren’t real musicians? lol they should check vadrum out
Dude. Crazy. Interesting where he has his ride – almost like it’s a second hat.
Copies Mike Portnoy a bit too much for my taste.
That’s exactly what I’ve been thinking since I first heard this guy, killawatt. word
He definitely works with a similar bag of tricks as Portnoy though he applies it in radically different places (classical music, ringtones, video-game & TV show theme music.)
And to be perfectly honest it drives me nuts that he doesnt hold down a consistent pattern for more than 2 seconds throughout the whole vides. Sure he do all that stuff but he can groove. (and im talking actually groove) Not just a beat taken from Rick Latham’s funk studies.
